I like it. Wish I could afford a new one! I like the lift but it wouldn't fit in my garage. Maybe an airbag lift system would be a nice option!

Congratulations on an Awesome Excursion. The carbon touch looks killer.

Welcome to FTE tool.

From what I understand the Pro Comp Pro Runner shocks are equivalent and come off the same line as the Bilstein 5100's do. Anybplans for it?

Thanks on that!! I had the panel with the seat memory and the mirror controls and the center panel done in brushed aluminum I'm thinking of doing that as well to the outer Shroud that you have to take off before you get to the gauges and having that done in brushed aluminum!!
Also looking for the brushed aluminum super duty letters as well for the passenger compartment

The steering wheel they couldn't pull it apart and dip it so they did a black wrap on it instead

Posted this in the super duty section yesterday and didn't get any response or feedback if any of you can help me with any of the below items it would be greatly appreciated

Hello,
Just bought a 2016 Excursion Conversion. it is based on an F250 Platinum.

I am surprised at a few missing items that I would have thought would have been on the truck that is not and am looking for some items that aren't stock but want to add

First, very surprised there is no glove box lighting. Is there a retrofit kit I can buy that anyone is aware of ?

Also no footwell / ambient lighting, I know there is a factory kit for the F150 but I cannot find one for the F250

I am also looking for front parking sensors, someone mentioned a factory kit but I have not located it as of yet

On the F150 and other fords you can also get lighting under the mirrors that light up when you open the door, have not found factory or aftermarket kit. it leaves a very dark area around the truck

one item I did find on accident is a company called Brandmotion that does have a 360 view camera set up and you can also get there blind spot assist with it, 4 wheel parts carries it and they will do the install. bought one today and will have installed next week, if anyone is interested I will let you know

When I saw a picture of the dash are on this finally I noticed there were not upfitter switches in the vehicle so I complained as I had never seen a platinum without them! They put the switches in but they are not wired in, does anyone know if all the trucks cam with a plug in the harness to add the power or is this going to be a major issue to get them powered

Last, this has captains chairs in the second row, I would like to try to put the non flow threw type front console between the second row seats. Has anyone tried this? Another answer is I heard there were some platinum or special edition trucks that may have had rear consoles, again any help would be much appreciated

All please feel free to send me our advice

Thanks
Berndude

The upfitter switches should hook up. If I'm not mistaken I understood all our trucks came equipped to do so you just need to switch kit or if yours has it then it should work. I dont remember 100% but I'm wondering why they didn't hook it up.

The mirror lights are referred to as "puddle lights".Jason did an install and write up on his 2004 Super Duty in the link below. Some of the lighting questions may not be applicable to Factory Super Duty's.

2004 F250 Puddle Lights

For most of your questions I would check the 6.7 PSD section, they are a fairly busy group.

Awesome!! Thanks for the info! Having a 360 view camera set up put in next week by four wheel parts and they have to run wiring in the same area for the camera and I'm gonna try and get them to put puddle lights in as well !

Also I saw recon makes some really nice vendor well lights I was thinking of putting them underneath the chassis the truck and just having them tied to the door switch as well so I can wipe the entire perimeter of the truck and have it tied into the switch when the door opens

Looks good! I was looking at the ones by recon but instead of using them in the fender wells putting them underneath and an angle to light up towards the outside and act as perimeter lighting .
These appear to be a lot less expensive then the recon units do you know where the company is located I couldn't find it based on the link ?
