Wow that is impressive! So how many miles on that? You could brag to have the one with the least amount lol but that would be cheating ha! Damn if that is true that's super cool I would almost never drive it and just show it off. So more pictures on the interior. I'm curious if it is custom, XLT, Lariat, Harley Davidson, Etc.
...they died a natural death, Ford didn't kill the model.
I've read about a different opinion.
Back in '04 or '05, I read an article where the author predicted the demise of the Excursion, but it was because Ford had overpriced them by 10 grand.
IIRC, the author took pains to explain his research and how easy it was for Ford to switch the liine over from the F-series to the Ex, and I don't remember how he got the numbers from Ford, but apparently he came up with the 10 grand figure, stating Ford was gonna end up killing the Ex because they overpriced it.
Dunno how accurate that is, but that's one aspect/theory that might have something to do with it, if it's true.
hey thank you all for the compliments on it !! I'm really excited about this truck as well I have some pictures of the suspension at home on the computer but I'm out of town for the weekend I'll try and take some I decided to take it up to big bear and check it out in the snow so I'll get some on the phone and I'll send them out !
So if I read what you said earlier you saved $30k for truck then took a loan for $70k ultimately paying $100k? Hey your from California that's why you can afford this lol.
By the way I lived in Seal Beach 4 years moved recently I know how you California folks roll if you don't look good going out you won't lol.
Lol! Everywhere I had locked they wanted way over 100 K usually 140 - 150 K
This was already built I did not have a converted the company that built it is owned by a conglomerate Ford dealer Reed Ford and they also go under the name planet ford
If you go to their website I'm sure they have some of the trucks on it they even have a custom raptor on their lot
The entire thing is financed through Ford no separate loan for the truck no separate loan for the conversion I bought a completed vehicle that was never registered before
I ended up having all the fake wood grain from the platinum Hydro dipped with a red carbon fiber it is not a stick on it is actually now part of the plastic
