Hi guys, I have a 1966 F100 bolted on a 1979 F150 4x4 chassis. Can anyone tell me if I do a flip rear spring hanger, how much does the hanger have to move forward to get the correct angle? How much will it move the axle forward? How much lift can I expect? My bed is centered on the wheel now, but the bed needs to move forward about 1.5".
Do you see the blue line with User CP, Albums, FAQ? See the SEARCH on that line?
It has a drop down search menu arrow, go to the "Advanced Search" option, top left side (search block) type in there what you are looking for and then go to the lower right column and highlight 73-79 forum. Select it and then you will have a detailed search just in the 73-79 forums.
From what I have read and understand, a stock shackle flip can get you 1.5 lift. You reuse the 2 front holes and then drill 2 new fwd of that.
