I have a 1993 ford f350 4X4 with the 460 engine and e4od. It has the original pcv valve which I am trying to replace to cut oil consumption but at all the parts stores oreileys, autozone, napa, etc they only carry a valve that is threaded. The stock valve on this truck is not threaded and simply just slides in on a grommet. Any suggestions on where I can find the right part? Or will the threaded one work fine? In your guys experience will this possibly help cut oil consumption? I changed the breather element which was pretty covered in oil. Thanks in advance!
Have you checked to see if your truck has threads where your pcv goes? Perhaps someone just stuffed a non threaded one in there. Regardless, you should be fine with a non oem pcv. Sandyman

No threads there, I think I will just go ahead and order the one shown on Amazon. Thanks for the help!
