This'll be my first post, and i am hoping this will help me with my situation. I own a '05 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.0L. Last September, i reported it stolen. Two months later, i find my truck with a number of parts removed. [Headlight, Front Grille, Dash Trim, Intercooler, Radiator, Fan, Batteries, Coolant Reservoir, Turbo, FICM, ECU, Relays (under dash & engine compartment), Intake Manifold, Waterpump, High Pressure Oil Rail, High Pressure Oil Pump, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Rail, Fuel Pump, Heads, etc. (EGR Cooler remained, but i'm assuming it was forgotten). Basically, i was left with just the block. Everything that is known to fail in these 6.0's, have been replaced and upgraded. It also has a 6" lift, with 35X12.50 on 17" rims. Idk what to do at this point...do i bring her back to life or not? I know it'll cost me.......
Someone please help me!!! Should i sell whatever is left of her whole (w/ stock rims & tires)? Or should i part her out? I am on the big island of Hawaii, where there isn't many Ford F250's being parted out, so.....How much would i sell a great truck, with all thats missing? I already have a buyer. But idk what price to give him, while he refuses to make an offer (due to fact that he has no idea of how much he should offer). SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.
is it 4 door? hows the paint and body? any modifications that were not stolen? hows the interior?
if the interior is in good shape and so is the body and it is 4 door i would look at about 8grand.
i had a 2001 4 door f250 with the 7.3 a heavily modified 7.3 at that and a BTS trans and suncoast monster box tcase and life and tires with a functional fiberglass ram air hood and when the engine went i sold the entire truck for 7k blowin engine and all
Dang .. sorry to hear that. Where you're at I'll bet it's all about Supply and Demand.
If you have the time and place to store it, I'd part the remainder of it out. A $$ is a $$.
As a whole it's only worth as much as you can get. You could advertise as taking bids with the highest bid getting it.
