per fox the needed bushing and sleeve part numbers are:
014-11-002-A
213-28-007-B
about the sticker; I don’t want to advertise BDS suspension when I am not running their suspension, rather just a shock with their logo on it.
call it strange if u like
2016 rear shocks, I just put in a smaller bolt to fit the bushing for now M12 instead of the OE M14
I'm thinking that was a good idea. I just bought the 2016 Ford OEM bolts and nuts for ~$6.00. Was there any play in the mounting when you did it this way? Oh, did the new shocks improve your unloaded ride?

no play, and yes, much better ride unloaded. it's not a Rolls but better than stock.
I run the shocks at setting 5 which gives a good compromise of stiffness and comfort. I pull a conventional hitch race trailer 24ft 8k lbs with no problems at 5. no need to stiffen up the shocks.
I had the Rancho RSX9000XLs on my 2012 & after the first winter here in the Rust Belt, they were junk. The "Nitro-Carb" piston rods built up a ring of rust at the point where the travel stopped & the rods never got wiped clean. The first time I hooked up the camper in the spring & the shocks moved beyond their unloaded travel, the rust ring ripped the seals out. 2 were trashed within the first 20 miles. They went in the scrap metal bin & I bought Bilstein 5100s. Haven't had an issue since. Just ordered a 2017 F350 on Sat, 9/2. I know what brand I won't be putting on it.

Completely different experiences, I ran them last winter and they are working perfect. I live in canada and our road get a lots of salt and rocks, same as you. happy to hear you like the bilstein.

I think this was a bad idea. The amount of force a shock puts on its mounts is very large. Your mount was never designed to address this force via sheer resistance, rather it was designed with the sheer strength of a tight fitting 14mm bolt. There is nothing but sheer resistance preventing your shock bolt from moving 2mm with each bounce. The shock will slide on its mount and over time, this will elongate the 14mm hole that your 12mm bolt is moving in.

Has any one put the fox shocks on for comparison?
Pull your boots back & take a look at the piston rods, then let us know what you see.
The FOX 2.0 are with out a doubt the way to go on a stock ride height truck. I had them on my 14 Plat 250 and took them off when sold and now they are on my 17 250. They defiantly refine the ride a lot and are worth the $$
