More problems...

After dealing with the following problems;
-rear door locks not working with FOB or manual
-moisture behind both headlamp assemblies
-leaking roof through GPS antenna
-bottom cushion on drivers side seat moving side to side when turning corners

I now have to deal with...

-no audio from radio on either satellite, fm/am, phone, voice recognition etc
-drivers door will not close in cold weather(and i assume the other doors) apparently there is a service bulletin on that where they add more lube...go figure just to stick it up even more.

The whole unit is being replaced for the radio at a $4500 touch, and the door will be serviced at the same time. I have been to the dealer 6 times with my truck in the last 10 days. They keep telling me they are going to fix the radio and then when they can't they tell me to pick up my truck and they order new parts. I just don't get it.

Am I the only one having these types of issues on a 4 month old 2017 Super Duty Platinum?

moisture behind both headlamp assemblies

I thought I read in the manual that this is normal?

Sorry about your other troubles though.

Fords warranty process is frustrating, though I don't know that it's better elsewhere. Ford will tell the techs to do step 1 and then if that's not it they have to do step 2. However, they won't let us order parts for step 2 until step 1 doesn't work. All part of keeping cost down (yet the price of things keep going up of course).

I would wonder if the leaking antenna allowed water to short something out.

Good luck

I did mention the water seeping in through the up lifter switches and did ask if that could be a contributing factor. They haven't provided an answer yet. I guess we will wait and see. They did explain the step process to me but man, every-time I have to fire up the power stroke on a cold Canadian morning the fuel gauge is taking a beating.

The doors not shutting in cold weather is a very common issue on the 2015+ F-150 with which we share a cab, and of course doors. Pushing the lock button down manually, and perhaps with a little force, will then allow the door to close properly. I've yet to have the problem in my cold-weather environment on my new truck, but my dad's 2016 F-150 has a problem with the passenger front door not closing.

The moisture was so bad it was affecting the beam of the headlamps. I could see a little moisture but not to the extent of causing light pattern distortion.

Sorry to hear of your issues. Only thing on my Platinum is the front camera got water inside at 1000 miles and is shot. Goes to solid black sometimes due to the water inside. Dealer ordered a new one last Friday and it's on the way. I waited until my first oil change to have it looked at. I actually use it quite a bit when parking.
