'88 F150 ignition glitch?
'88 F150 ignition glitch?
I've noticed that every now and then, my '88 F-150 seems dead when you turn the key. Then it will suddenly start no problems. Has anyone else had this happen?
How can I troubleshoot this while it's working properly? It would probably be easier to troubleshoot it when it "plays" dead but that doesn't happen too often.
I did see that there is an ignition switch recall on this particular truck. Maybe I can get Ford to replace it for free.
Any troubleshooting ideas?
Thanks,
Pete
