trailer relay box
trying to locate the trailer relay box on my 96- 5.0 is it along side the power distributaion box? I have one that is there but cant find any infornmation on this box its long has room for 4 or 5 relays any information on this box would help.

I don't think that is your tralier relay box but the trailer relays and fuses are in the PDB which is the larger black box next to the smaller box. I believe on the underside of the lid is a legend of which fuse and relay is what. If not then get yourself a haynes manual (avalible at any auto parts store) and look in the back there are full wiring diagrams in the back with descriptions of every relay and fuse in your truck.

Yes the little box along side the big one contains 3 relays for the trailer and the bigger one contains one or 2 if I remember right. anyway I have it written down somewhere which ones which. just let me know what your looking for.

looking to turn of the abs light ,pump is bad to much to fix. brake system works fine had it checked out. got a cd manual on ebay for my bronco,i not sure if this will work but under system diode it says the system diode is located in the trailer relay box with the main relay (14n089). The system diode enables the amber ABS warning light to illuminate when ignition is on and the system is disabled by switching the main relay to default postion not sure if i find it and unplug it will the light turn off,or disconnect the plug to the abs pump.Looking for a way to turn the light off without removing the light it self. not very good with electric drawings i have one relay and one diode in the trailer relay box.
