Backaswards Texan

Ok, I have seen folks complain about the little knuckles in the two cup holders not popping back out. My problem is down here we super size everything and with a big Route 44 drink in those cup holders it is a tussle to get them out easily. I am interested in "letting the air out of the knuckles". Anyone figured the trick out? And I am talking about some advice other than slicing them off with a Buck knife! Thanks!!! ;-)

Mine does not pop out.

Still holds my 32 oz. Yeti tumbler.

Why don't you slide over the extra two cup holders that fit a bigger cup??? Unless your truck doesn't have that???

Use a yeti/rtic 30 oz cup for a few days. It's loosened everything up

My first time putting a styro cup in there I thought it would bust open it was so tight in there. That was the last time. Bottles or cans now

No, I got that and do that with 2 of the drinks. But I pick up 4 Route 44 every day for the staff and trying to wiggle those two out of the cupholders is a crap shoot if the cup comes free or the plastics lid comes off! ;-)

Exactly my point! ;-) In 2011 F350 I removed the inserts and that allowed the big styrofoam cups to fit without issue.

You got 6 cup holders within arms reach of the driver.... Do the 2 at the rear of the console not work better? I'm not sure i haven't even sat in my truck yet....
