My (wife's) 2014 Ram 3500 cummins western brown tradesman is history. I got in from work this morning and my wife was going nuts about a 2015 black convertible ( I hate convertibles) mustang GT. Later when I got up it was pretty much going down so I was elbows and a-holes for about an hour washing vacuuming and detailing the ram getting her ready for trade-in. And then off they went to Houston. She's still there getting it done. We'll be an all Ford family now: 1980 Bronco, 2015 F-350 6.2 CCLB, and the mustang. Lots of mixed feelings but my diesel days are done.
Nice Ride
I too had a rag top for a while. You get used to the noise, but I got tired of sitting on the ground and went back to a truck. I miss it on nice summer nights but cant have everything.
Apparently it was not filled with gas. Yeah its kinda cool but at the end of the day its completely useless. And unsurvivable in an accident. Oh well.....here's the herd
Couple more.....nice oil dipstick location directly under the cross member
I really Iike how the top is clean and flat when down not all accordioned like the XK8
Also love clean translucent oil on the dipstick (no more pitch black diesel oil)
That 300 6 is probably my favorite older gas motor of all time. I still kick myself for passing on an ex-forest service 92 Bronco that had the 300 and a manual 5 spd that I saw on CL locally.
