New Clutch
Hey everyone, Im currently in the stages of fixing up my 78 F-250 and am wondering what a really good clutch to install would be. I thought I'd replace the clutch since I have no clue when it was re-done due to it sitting for the last 4 years.
I was surprised when the damn thing kicked over and idled!!

If it is a bone stock engine I would not go excessively fancy. Most upgraded clutches are for higher torque and HP applications. I have been happy with stock replacement LUK clutches. Brands are just like Chevy, Ford, or Dodge though. Some will hate a brand, while others will love a Brand.
But do go organic material. I have a semi ceramic performance clutch in my Cummins now and it is just horrible, not much slipping, it just engages.
