Quite a few CT folks found out that they had crappy tires yesterday.

Came down a winding farm road yesterday afternoon to find a 5 car, slow-motion pileup at the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. Apparently, none of the cars could stop and they all slid into one another at < 10 mph, blocking the road.

I stopped fine - around 50 yards uphill. Unfortunately, that road is a converted cow path and is barely wide enough for two cars to pass one another. I needed turn around go back and take an alternate route, and with my CC long bed that required a 12-point-turn.

While I was still trying to maneuver around and was perpendicular across the road, another car came down the hill. I saw her wheels lock up and she started to slide....luckily she slid off of onto somebody's lawn and didn't hit me or anything else. At this point I became quite motivated to get out of there, so I forgot to snap picture of the body shop bonanza down the hill.

 

Yeah, I went out for lunch in downtown Bristol yesterday and all we saw/heard were sirens from cops and firetrucks the entire time. Scary how stupid some people can be.

 

Happy to see the GTG, but will not be able to attend. I have a standing diner in the quiet corn of the state with the campers from Charlie Brown Campground. We get together this one time during the winter and we have already reserved seats.

Hoping everyone has a good time at Sliders.

 

Once it warms up some more we can do something at my place again.

 

Afternoon everyone, the roads were definitely slick the other day, I had to do a bunch of running around and all I wanted to do was get back home so I wouldn't be out there with the craziness!

Side note, I've been looking for a 7x14 cargo trailer, preferably aluminum and v nose. Cant seem to find one for a decent price, if anyone knows someone selling one, let me know!

Hello to everyone...time to start the Super Bowl game festivities!

 

It was nice to see some of you guys yesterday at the gtg. Thank you for putting up with my kid again.
