If they key was on, all of those pins should have had power.

Thanks LeadHead

Guess It's time to trace some wires. Anyone know where I can get a copy of the service CD for this truck?

Ahhhh,

Now I'm getting somewhere. At this point I am in a no start situation. Before purchasing a new PCM I wanted to troubleshoot this as much as possible. I still don't have a MIL light, but now I have also discovered that I am not getting any spark. I backprobed the PIP PIN on my ICM and KOEO I get 10 volts SOMETIMES. On cranking I always get 4-7 volts on that PIN.

One thing I noticed when I DO get spark, it is very very weak. If my coil is getting 12 volts at the + lead shouldn't I get a strong spark?

You're not getting spark because the voltage to the ICM is too low.

Thanks LeadHead. Same thing I was thinking. I removed my EEC yesterday. Would anyone happen to have a good F4TF-12A650-ZA they trying to part with lol???

If not I think I'll send mines out to get repaired. Once I do that I'll post the results, hopefully that's my problem

I'm not following your diagnostics logic at all here.

The first rules of electronics diagnostics are:
1) Check your voltages.
2) Check them again.

You have two pins on your PCM connector that don't have power when you turn the key on - even though they should. You also have no power to the "START" pin on your ICM.

You can throw all the new PCMs in the world at it, but without power, they're not going to work. You need to find and fix BOTH of your power problems before buying parts.

Lol,

I'm sorry. I was testing the wrong PINs on the PCM previously. I rechecked them on the correct PINs and got proper voltages and grounds at the connector.

If you verified you have proper ground and proper power to the computer, and the check engine light does not come on, then the computer has most likely failed.

Hello,

Sorry took so long to post again. Well I got the PCM back from SIA Electronics and it still wouldn't start. I then checked the Fuel Rail and you guessed it. No Fuel Pressure. Soooo once I put gas in it I figured the computer was fine from the start, it just needed some gas. I then got pissed and said F THIS TRUCK for a while hence, why I haven't posted since then.

However, at this point she still isn't pulling codes and I had the PCM repaired so I don't think the reason it isn't pulling codes is the PCM. How do I check the DLC connector? Do I need to ground PIN 4 then put a test light in one of the other connectors to see if the CEL comes on? I want to get the thing to pull codes to help with diagnosing my transmission. Unless someone else has a suggestion as far as why the tranny isn't working properly...

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key on?
