Smoother ride
My 1995 Explorer seems to be riding much rougher lately. What can be done to provide a smoother ride without compromising the towing/load capacity?
Is it a matter of replacing the shocks? If so, any suggestions as to brands that provide a smooth ride.

Smoother ride
I replaced the shocks on my 98 and it make a world of a difference. I used the mid grade Gabrial VT truck shock that they sell at Autozone (about $24 ea) and they worked fine for me.
If you have never replaced your shocks I would try this first.
