Nope, this all has to do with the exchange rate. The Canadian dollar has traded lower against the U.S. dollar lower than it has in years. This has made cross-border sales a very common thing.

Buying a Canadian truck with U.S. dollars can get you one heck of a deal, which is why dealers are snapping them up right now for resale.

The crappy thing about buying a used vehicle over a new vehicle is that a dealer doesn't have to disclose anything to you regarding his cost. At least with a new vehicle you will get an invoice on demand and that will tell you something at least.
Hey Adam:
I hope everything went well today, and you brought your new baby home
Let us all know what happened.

Well we had a pretty bad freezing yesterday so the inspection wasn't able to get done because roads were sheeted with ice and the dealership was closed as well. New inspection date is Tuesday. So hopefully by the end of this next week it'll be home with us if all goes well.

Well THAT, sucks. I'm not a patient person, zero.
I'm waiting for Crutchfield to refund my money so I can go buy another stereo for my truck. And I'm about to climb a wall.
Still hoping everything goes well.
WEll...... It's Tuesday. Hope you got good news and your new baby

Haha. Just had the inspection done and I have attached it to see. Nothing major at all. Only question was the Drivetrain code that was cleared just over 300 miles ago. My only thought is that it got cleared possibly when they converted it for sale in the US? Any thoughts on that possibly?
WOW!
I've never seen an inspection like that before.
So..you gonna get the new toy

Truck will be coming home Friday or Saturday!! Stoked!!
Another question I have. Will 285/65R20 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 tires fit on this truck with those stock 20" wheels or will I need different wheels or spacers? I do plan on getting a leveling kit as well.

SWEET!!!
What is the stock tire size for your new baby
From your stock size tire 275/55/20, to a 285/65/20 the height difference is about 2.75" taller tire. And half of that much in the wheel well, so about 1.375" more tire in the wheel well. So depending in the fit, you may need to raise that front end an 1.5" or so to be safe.
Your width difference from stock to the 285/65/20 is almost .5" and I would think that wouldn't cause you any problems.
