New trailer questions.... Help!

Thinking about buying a car/equipment trailer. What have you towed with your F150. I have a 2012 F150 supercab 4x4.

how well it handles it will depend on the engine and axle ratio of your truck.

Mine handles my little travel trailer loaded down and with te 4 wheeler in the bed without any issue.

I've rented a car hauler from U-Haul twice. The full trailer kind where all four car wheels are on the trailer. Once I towed a 2005 Chevy Impala; the second time I towed a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. I towed the Impala about 300 miles through the hills of KY. The truck towed them great. I also have a 3,500 lb boat and 3,300 lb camper. The cars are the heaviest things I've towed. I'm sure others have towed much more.

Tow a tandem-axle flatbed with a four wheel drive farm tractor with mine, and it does great!

I tow these a lot. The boat is 26' and is about 8500# on the trailer, the tractor is about 4000# as pictured (tires are loaded) and the car trailer is about 2100# empty. My Ecoboost has no issue pulling either of these.

I've towed a flatbed with my '67 F100 on it just fine from NY to WY. I use a weight distribution hitch to level out the truck. There is plenty of good trailering advice in that section of this forum. They helped me get mine set up right.

Here's a link to them helping get it all right:
