Excursion > Transit
typically 5 adults + 1 child and luggage pretty much fills it up, carry on luggage on laps, in foot spaces, etc.
so this year we decided to try the transit.
handling is easier than my Excursion, steering is car like and no wandering. The seats thougb work for high school students, but not adults over 30. Could not find any way to fold seats down, so luggage was stuffed in the extra seats, plenty of room for everything.
Overall, ride wasn't enjoyable, my wife saying it rides much bumpier and rougher on the cement interstates than my X.
Sitting over front wheels makes it more fun in parking lots because you feel exposed with no hood jutting out in front. But, parking was pretty easy, I fit in a normal spot without sticking out further than a few other foljs.
The mirrors are FANTASTIC though.
