COOLANT FILTER works properly as a bypass system. I installed the Facet Duralift pump 9 to 11 psi. But I noticed the fuel level in the pump drop drastically and while idling a time or 2. The truck ran fine. Just curious on ideas? Or that's normal. By the way she's fired up every time no problem. Driving about 4hrs this evening to test it for my air intrusion problem. BUT I have a nasty oil leak from the block off plate I installed. I used the gasket it came with but I guess I need rtv?
Make sure you didn't install the block off plate upside down. It will hit a lip on the bottom and keep it from seating all the way. Thats what I did. Couldnt figure out why it wouldn't seal until i flipped it over and discovered the problem
Also my pump does the same thing sometimes, Never caused any issues.
Now I'm curious on if my plate is upside down I do feel a metal lip on the bottom where the block off plate is but it's hard to tell. I may have it upside down....but I'm experiencing a fuel issue I'm driving 60mph anf she slows down or speeds up and then is fine then does it again..seems like she is starved for fuel? Fuel filter was changed about 3 or 4 months ago.
I'd check orientation first. If its sitting right then i've also heard sometimes the block off plate is a little to big and you need to grind the bottom down just a little bit to fit over the lip that you felt.
As far as your fuel it sounds like you may have a restriction or an air intrusion before your pump.
I'm thinking restriction. I did shorten the bolts for the block off plate. I'm not sure if it's stuck on the lip or not. Hard to tell. But I'll try to flip it.
I did notice the Schader valve was bubbling without me pressing it while the engine was running after installing the new e pump. I cracked open all injectors to get air out first..then ran the truck and saw Schader valve bubbling. Of course I pushed it in to release air and it had some in it. But it shouldn't be bubbling without me pushing it. That would be my air intrusion?
If the fuel level in your E-pump is dropping, what's above it? Air.
The problem is that you are sucking air into the E-pump instead of fuel. Check the fuel lines pre-e-pump, and probably the tank pickup. Chances are it's failing in some way.
I've looked at the fuel line and all I see is the old aftermarket fuel pump by the rear tank. I'll delete it this week some time and I'll delete the Schrader valve tomorrow and post results. If I'm sucking air wouldn't it be after the e pump? Since it has a built in check valve. I'm assuming my air is coming from the engine/fuel filter hosing rather than the fuel line to the tank

Nope, opposite.
The E-pump has multiple check valves in it, usually - one on the inlet and one on the outlet. The filter bowl is on the outlet of the E-pump, and generally there is going to be no way for that level to drain in normal operation, as you would create a vacuum.
The only way that bowl drains is if you are pulling air from the tank, so the air is replacing fuel which is getting pushed on to the IP.
Look.... There was a /reason/ for your 'air intrusion' problem. Just adding an E-pump doesn't really fix the issue, just masks it.
The issue is most likely a tank-to-lift-pump issue.
One thought is that if removing the crummy PO's frame rail pump doesn't fix it, I'll bet you've got a clog in the fuel pickup.
The fuel pickup has this little round rubber piece about halfway up the pickup, which will allow fuel/air in if you draw too much of a vacuum on the suction line. https://www.amazon.com/Ford-E5TZ-9J3.../dp/B0042HBSYE
So, if the strainer is mostly clogged, you could get intermittant air into it, depending on whether you are drawing enough fuel to pull that rubber piece open, and whether the fuel level is higher or lower than it.
I understand what your saying and I assume it's in the fuel tank the pick up? I deleted the Schrader valve and went and changed the fuel filter but I noticed bubbles coming from injector 3 I believe. Below the steel line and the Tee Is loose and leaking. So I'm 100 percent sure that's my issue my question is can I just change o rings or do I have to replace the injector? Also I want to change the tee abs small furl connection lines and is there a o ring under the steel line that screws onto the injector? If so is it changeable ot replace whole steel line
