I bought this a couple weeks ago. My 2nd Super Duty (Previous was a late 99 F-250 with a 7.3)
Specs:
2005 F-250 Lariat CC Short Box
6.0 PSD, that has (according to the dealer I bought it from) been somewhat bulletproofed with head studs and gaskets, replaced the EGR (Have to keep it here in MD for emissions from what I understand), SCT Livewire TS running the street tune at the moment. 4" exhaust. 3" lift from unknown manufacturer. 35" Atturo Trail Blasters on 18" rims. It's set up with a Gooseneck hitch (Not sure what brand), chrome grille inserts, 2008+ tow mirrors.
So far I have:
Picked up a set of Ford running boards from a 2015
A trifold tonneau from E-Bay, similar to a Tonopro
The first question I have for the group has to do with the auto-dimming rear view mirror. It has power (I verified with a test light) to the plug, but when I hit the power button I get nothing. I'm assuming they just stop working due to age/abuse/whatever?

Reason: Fixing the images
The auto dimming mirror on my 2006 F350 died years ago in that it stays permanently dim (it's dark, but I can still see stuff with it). Other than unplugging and plugging it back in, I've never messed with it because I have a cap on the bed anyway; usedto just using my side mirrors
Same here. The mirror is not dimmed (thank goodness!) as the rear window is tinted. So it's not really a big deal, I'm just one of those who likes everything to work even if I don't use it.
