clear headlights
I bought a pair of clear corner lenses which look great but i have a 94 ranger and the headlights are a bit yellow from the sun i think, i was wondering if there was a way to get that off there or where i can find a pair of clear headlights without paying $200 + dollars for some. I was actually thinking of getting some out of a 97 ranger in a junkyard or somewhre but i havent been able to find one.

Some good ol' fashioned polishing compund should do the trick. Start with the mildest compund you can find (one designed for clear coat) and work your way up to stronger ones if that doesn't work. I used to think this discoloration was within the plastic itself, and that there was nothing you could do but buy new lenses. 2 minutes with rubbing compound and the headlights on my '94 Ranger look brand-new!
