Steering issues! Need Help ASAP
I just finished my SAS on my 1997 f350. And now I am having issues about the steering. Does anyone know if I need drop pitman arm? I went threw 2 sets of new steering kits. When I turn it kinda slides and if I drive straight I have play. When I crawl underneath and lift the tires off the ground, I can turn and pay with the steering arms with thus turn the tires about 1/2". What can be wrong? When I go over bumps I don't have bump steer. My truck steering slides and I have bad play in the steering wheel from it. I also tried to tighten the gear box nut.
