They are the factory installed customer convenience wires, there are 4 of them dead ended at one end under the hood (shown) and under the dash at the other end. Easiest way to get wires through the firewall.

Exactly! The official term we use at the big house is "upfitter takeouts".

Not sure, but I think they end in two different locations. Maybe under steering column and under radio......?
