Blower Motor Trouble
I have started to have a problem on my 78 f250, the blower motor will not work if the engine is running. If I have the key in the run position the blower motor works like normal but if I start the truck the motor stops working.
What could be the problem with it?
I was thinking the blower resistor had gone bad but it doesn't seem like that would be the problem if it will work with the engine off.

Does anything else from the "keyed" power side work? Radio, wipers, etc.? Sounds almost like an ignition problem, like the key isn't returning to the "run" position from the "start" position. Does wiggling the key a little back towards the "off" position help?

Check your ignition closely. I jumped in my 79 just the other morning and it started right up as always but none of the gauges would work, no wipers, no turn signals etc. After messing with it for awhile I discovered the ignition was not making contact properly. If I wiggled the key just a small bit the gauges etc. would work or I could make them not work by wiggling the key. New ignition fixed it.
