1. What are you doing for the numbers that need to be displayed (location and material)?
- I take it I cannot use magnetic numbers with the body being aluminum....
2. Same thing in regards to the fire extinguisher.
Do you need DOT numbers? I guess you're commercial pulling a trailer? I think its generally a contrasting font visible from 20' away. I put my way down low on driver and passenger doors. Don't forget you're medical card, safety triangles, etc,

Good idea! I hate the idea of putting stupid *** stickers on such a nice piece of equipment. Not planning on putting the business name on it either so I would prefer magnetic numbers. Going to try your idea out.
Put my numbers in the glove box with the registration.
That may be easier for you in California since CA is one of the few states which does not have a requirement for DOT numbers. The majority of states have their own requirement in addition to the Federal requirement and hence the increased scrutiny by the various local police departments.
