Broncograveyard sold me their lift kit with extended brake lines but thd front one has a male end at the top and I need a female end. So I am going to get an inline coupler at the store here. One end uses a 3/8" fitting and the other end uses 7/16" - these are the wrench sizes, and it seems Ford used a mix of these two sizes with little rhyme or reason. Does anyone know the actual size and thread pitch so I can tell the place what I need? Need an inline female coupler that converts one size to the other.
If you need fittings, they're available brand new from Classic Tube.
The 7/16"-24 fitting is part number ST8006.
The 1/2"-20 fitting is part number ST8007.
The 9/16"-18 fitting is part number ST8010.
The 3/8"-24 fitting is the standard sized fitting for 3/16" diameter tubing. The other, larger three fittings are specialty sizes for 3/16" tubing that most parts stores do not carry.
Left to right: 9/16"-18, 1/2"-20 and 7/16"-24.
These are OEM type steel fittings. For more money, they're available in stainless steel too.
Good info. Dont need to flare new lines...just need an inline coupler that couples the 2 different sizes.
....if while breaking the line fittings loose you round any of them off or, if you eventually make new lines, now you know where to get new fittings to do the job.
What you're looking for is an inverted flare coupling.

Called my local hydraulics shop with the info you gave me in the first post and he gave me the part numbers of what I need. I've got everything broke loose already so no issues there. I love rust free trucks.
Supposed to rain today so may or may not get the parts installed after work, but will get it done this week so I can finish installing the rest of the lift. Right now I can't really move the truck around without brakes, so want to get that buttoned up first. Got the extended lines on front and rear. Turns out my soft lines were all dry cracking so I replaced all those as well for safety sake. Only took calls to 3 different parts chains to finally find those front lines....but I got them.
