So im curious - my truck is a 1500 with a 6inch pro comp lift with 35s. thats enough height for me lol
the stock 2017 f250 looks pretty tall and I saw one at the dealership that they say has a 6 inch procomp lift on 38s and it looks huge compared to my truck.
If I am looking for a lift similar to my 1500. Would a 4 inch lift with 37s be in the ball park? Of hitting 6inchs. Because that lift on the super duty at the dealership looked like a 8 inch lift instead.
Based on my F350, compared to 1500s, 150s, I would say a front level would be same is as a 6 inch lift. Go f350 the rear blocks are 2.5 inch taller than the f250 rear blocks.
I can't remember the threads but there were some guys that posted their 6" lift trucks next the the new 17's and there wasn't much of a difference. Maybe a 3.5" front with 1" back or just a level.
I would take your truck to a ford dealership and place it right next to one of the new 17's and see.
When you say "exact" same models...you do realize the back one is a long bed...and the front one is short.....
You are correct and the old has a canopy and wood box liner new one is bed liner. New one also has cooled seat, lane assist, power rear window, massive sun roof, etc...
But I believe we are comparing ride height and a long bed does not make your truck taller?
