1974 - Ford 361 "FT" Compression Spec
Would anyone know what the cylinder compression should be in a 1974 361 "FT" engine?
Also wondering what difference the position of the throttle plates makes when testing? I'm guessing you may get a slightly lower readings but is it significant?

1974 - Ford 361 "FT" Compression Spec
All I have is a repair manual that list 7.2:1 as the compression ratio and the lowest cylinder should be 75% of the highest. No specific numbers tho.
Throttle should be blocked open.
