It's a 120V Hobart. 60 cu/ft tank stands about 24" tall.Gas is Argon/co2 mix. I'm using .024 wire. If you have a supplier for Maine Oxy they have very good prices. 1/2 the cost of Air Gas. You will pay one time fee for the bottle then after you just pay for the gas.

Originally I have purchased a 20 cu/ft tank from Tractor Supply as they advertised an exchange program, come to find out they stopped the program.

Another update. It was a perfect weekend weather wise. Finally no heat needed in my garage. Took a trip to Harbor Freight last week and scored some goodies. Picked up an engine stand under $60.00 gotta love that, some more jack stands and a bunch of grinding and cutting disks. Gotta love Harbor Freight.

Took some time and did some spring cleaning in the garage. Hung my engine on the stand. Works good. Spent some time getting the last piece of floor out. Took a good look at the kick panel on the driver side. Making a template for the presto changeo. I am going to try and make a single panel to repair it.

Sunday was spent opening up my camp and cleaning mouse and squirrel poo, and making sure the beer fridge gets cold. Then went home and started the spring clean up in the yard. I will have to start working nights on the truck.

Marking my territory.

Fred Flintstone eat your heart out. That's a big hole.

This is the part that will take some finagling but it will happen.

I wish it was as easy as making a paper template. Just need to get the template right so I can make the panel before I remove the affected metal.

Just think of the nice breeze you'll have with that floor gone, going down the road!LOL

I have wondered if I shouldn't have removed some of the floor to replace the entire kick panel like you're doing. I just couldn't cut into that solid floor!LOL

Gotta do what you gotta do. Not replacing as much of the kick panel as the poster board showed. Just finished my template tonight. I'm taking it to work and cut it out on the bandsaw.

Thanks
I'm going to clean the inside as much as I can and treat it with rust reformer before I put the patch panel in.
