Instrument Cluster Question
A question for all you instrument cluster gurus out there. I have a 95 F150 with a no tach cluster and I was able to get a 93 cluster with a tach cheap. I did a search and read a few older posts and it sounds like I could bump into the voltmeter problem is there any sure why to tell while I have the clusters out during the swap? Thanks
Instrument Cluster Question
If they are not the exact same, you will have a voltmeter problem. I speak from experience, the only thing you can transfer from one cluster to the other is a speedometer.
Instrument Cluster Question
I have a 95' f-150 and tried the same thing with a 93' pannel. It did not work, volt meter problems. They say anything from 93-97 will work, but I have not found one yet. The only way I found to tell is to put it in. The good thing is that all you have to do is plug it in and fire it up. watch the volt gauge and it will tell you.
Instrument Cluster Question
Upon inspection I notice the 93 cluster is missing the Airbag light and the ABS is marked RABS, given all these differences I think I'm going to not use this one and try and get a 95 maybe 94 to avoid the incompatibality headaches.
Markus...I'm looking for an instrument cluster w/tach for my 93 F150. Please email me if you want to make a deal. I'm in upstate NY.
