Most of the slicks I have had in my life were Caribbean Turquoise, a colour that irks me a bit. Twenty years ago I painted the inside of a cab I was working on and used 1979 Ford light jade green with black tint added to make it darker. It came out too dark so I added white tint to make it lighter and even harder to reproduce lol. It came out alright. The bottom of the dash was done in 21 line glasurit urethane from RM. The picture is of a digital image taken from the original film photo from about 1995.
The colour you have looks really nice and actually resembles Lunar green from 1967 Ford and Mercury trucks.
Tropical turquoise leans toward blue which I like. Caribbean turquoise leans toward the green but just seems a bit off to me for some reason. The Lunar green is a lot nicer. When in doubt paint it yellow and white on the outside and red on the inside. It is the rare condiment colour scheme of mustard mayo and ketchup
Chawkins1 I like your mint colour choice. It is pleasantly different and should blend in nicely at a car show. It is a nice shade of green.
