I am usually in the 73-79 area as my 97 150 dose not have issues often but this week was different about two years ago the thing just went sideways when I got it to the shop it had all kinds of codes from the computer being bad to the transmission gone bad. anyway it ended up being one of the ciol packs. just this week it started acting the same way miss firing the transmission random shifts. So I purchased a code reader and a coil pack (they only changed one side) got code p0320. Switched out the coil pack discontented the battery while switching it out. Truck start right up no fault codes other tha p1000 (normal). What I did notice is before this happened was there was interference on the AM radio that was not there before and at times the truck would crand really long before starting at times. now it start quickly and the AM radio interference is gone.
