Hey fellas, so I'm slowly trying to put together my X I just bought a few weeks ago. I would really like to put the running boards back on but do not know what hardware I need.
I have tried going to mt local junkyard to look at similar vehicles but there aren't any excursions to reference. Can somebody please chime? I have noticed there are what I call (speed) clips on the mounting holes of the body.
Any help would be great or even screen shots of the bolts or running boards installed. Thanksl!!! Trying to avoid having to go to the Ford house and pay 5 times the amount for a bolt if i dont have to.
Each mounting plate came with 2 bolts in opposite corners...so 10 bolts per side. You can get the bolts off any F250 or F350 in the junkyard if it still has its running boards. Pic of the bolts is coming. I have 8 left over from my running board swap.
