Hand Held Code Reader

Does anyone know how to use this. I'm having trouble interpreting the led flashes? How many times does it give you each code. I would really like to know how to read this thing.

Hand Held Code Reader

ok, this is how I remember it.

turn the key on, then turn the reader on, it will make a few really fast bleeps, move some valvles, and make some other noises, then it should read out like this

-it will read out all the current codes
-repeat codes
-long pause
-one beep
-long pause
-stored codes
-repeat stored codes

to erase the stored codes, flip the switch on the reader before you
shut off the ignition.

You don't really need a reader for all that. See

http://dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html

for both technique and explanation of led code.
