Ford 390 Crankshaft
I am looking to convert my 74 360 to a 390 by changing the crank.
2 questions:
Can this be completed with the crank alone?
Is there a difference between the 2U and 2UA castings? Will either work?

Both cranks are the same, you can use either one. You must also swap to the 390 rods, they're shorter than the 360 rods.

Ah makes sense. Sounds like a donor engine may be in order.

Contact a machine shop or perhaps Survival Motorsports can help you out.
