Still have some grinding and need some spacers and a custom mount, but I like were the fill is I can keep the lower bolt location and turn the pump to the right to center it better, but then the full neck would be close to the air intake
I was at the salvage yard and just for fun I picked up a Saginaw power steering pump of a dmax and a used bracket off a f350. I was wondering if anybody else has done this swap. I have attached some pics of it mounted using the 2 holes on the left and it looks ok, but not centered perfectly.
I like the idea behind this. Have always heard the Saginaw pumps were a lot better performers then our stock pumps. Sometimes ours just don't have the gumption to do what's needed. Especially with the added weight of a snowplow and such. Will be interested in seeing the finished product.
AGR makes a kit you can buy, but it is almost 400 bucks. I doubt they will sell me just the custom bracket. I will get it working soon, will need larger custom lines also.
