I asked everyone advice about a f250 and if I should purchase. I went and test drive one today.
It had a 6 inch lift and 38 inch tires!!!!!!!!
I didn't drive it far cause it had low fuel.
They ride smooth and everything. They wanted 68k for a lariat with a lift and 59k for one without the lift. Wow.... hefty price.
my question is - what month does ford start to offer incentives? Good ones? And what month is the 0% financing. If I am to get one I will wait till then and save up a down payment.
Also anyone who has a lifted 250 what mileage do you get with the diesel? Pulling off the lot it said 10.5 per gallon but I assume that was too low cause I wasn't even going highway speeds!
6" lift and 38" tires, yea 10.5 seems about right.
The incentives won't be much better on super duty trucks until end of the MY.
0% for super duty is also going to be most likely end of the MY.
Edit* With how much Ford is behind with just the orders and getting these things out still, there isn't going to be any help with price/interest rate anytime soon.
I found out the 0% probly won't help much, it's assigned to certain VIN #s and certain vehicles. I was looking at new Mustangs and they said I couldn't get 0% because it was only for the Ecoboost model and I wanted a GT. It doesn't apply to all the vehicles on the lot.
