pcm upgrade?

can a TEE5 pcm be upgraded to work in my '97 5 speed?

if not can it be upgraded to work in my "97 auto?

can it be made to work in both?

I believe it can be upgraded to the auto because its hardware code is a 202. The manuals are 203 so you can't cross them unless some vedor can.

Inside of the 202, the tee5, naw6, tde1 etc just denote the strategy programmed into it.
