Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has an extra PCM laying around that they would like to get rid of? I have a 1995 Ford F350 7.3L powerstroke of course, W/automatic. The number on the PCM is F5TF-12A650-BJF and the family code is DPC-202 with the flash of TEE5. If anyone has one that they would like to get rid of just let me know. Thanks.
Check out Car-Parts.com, I have located 2 different PCM's that I needed when working on peoples trucks through them. You can also get a more current "97" PCM and put it in your truck, this will give you the latest upgrades and a few more horses over the "95".
Look under "Engine Computer" and when you get to the short list make sure you select "AT" (for Automatic Trans); & std emis (FED);
I found 3 in GA & 1 in LA for this one"(7.3L, diesel), eng cont, AT, std emis (Fed), ID F7TF-12A650-RH" from $75 up $150
3 in GA for "(7.3L, diesel), eng cont, AT, std emis (Fed), ID F7TF-12A650-TB" from $125 to $150
Would any 97 w/auto be compatible for my truck? I know I want the (fed) because that would be a 49 state, correct? I'm assuming the first group of numbers must be the year the difference is a 5 versus a 7. What are the last two digits? Thanks for the help.
