fog lights?

fog lights?
My new F250 STX didn't come with fog lights.....the only place it looks like I could put a couple are right where the front license plate holder is, kinda like some of the older models. Wondering if anyone has dealt with this and if so what type of lights did u install?

assuming you remove the lic plate holder, a 2 row 12" spot/flood led bar will mount
nicely on top of the housing's existing 2 holes

Just do like I did, keep you eyes peeled on craigslist and buy a bumper complete with fog lights from a guy that installed a ranch bumper.

Cool… I'll have to be on the lookout for a chrome one. Also on that page I didn't realize the back bumpers were two pieces…interesting.

That looks great Doc. Do you have any of the details regarding that light bar/mount and did you install it yourself?

nice, i couldn't do same due to forward facing radar unit to left of driver's side tow hook

It's totron 20" double row light bar. I got it from Matt at Light it up Offroad. Had to basically cut and rip out front plate holder first. Made to little "L" brackets and mounted them to preexisting bolts under there. Kinda hard to see, but if you make 1"x1" brackets and have the light bar resting in there, you'll get the general idea how I did it

Looks like it belongs there! Just checked their website and it appears as though the light bar is sold out. No worries.. I am sure I can find one by the time I order my truck. Thanks for the info.
