Truck won't start, Help!
I have a 97 7.3 powerstroke, won't start, acts like batteries are dead. New starter, new alternator both within 6 months. Had batteries tested, both are good, charged them both and still acts like they are dead. Found a loose ground on the main line, tightened that up, but still acts the same, totally dead unless I jump it then I get some lights but won't start. Even with full batteries. Ugh.

You need to be more specific about "some lights but won't start". Are you talking about INDICATOR lights or ILLUMINATION? Or both? In any event, exactly which lights are coming on? And when you jump it, what **IS** happening? Is it cranking? Cranking too slowly? Cranking fast enough but not starting? Clicking but not cranking? What are you using to jump it?
