For a while it didn`t look like it would happen here either Shaun. A bit of rain is nice but too much of it gets really tiring

We just added another inch to our current rainfall totals for the year. We are on track for the wettest year on record.

I`m not sure what`s worse, too much rain, rain at the wrong time or not enough rain. It seems we`ve had all of that this yr.

We've had everything today, rain, sunshine, warm, cold gusts with rain and now its hailing, had some sleet, every hour has been different. Got 1 board to go and the roof on the shed will be done, cats like it and its a good place for a coffee break, can now get on the garage roof safely so that I can trim some branches by the powerline.

Be careful near the power line Perry, can't you get the power company to trim them. They do that here..

Here they give you a notice to do it or get it done, if you don't the city will do it for you and put it on your tax bill. The city only does tree trimming on public land or in emergency situations like after storms. I want to put in either 160 or 200 amp service anyway and that would have to go to the garage and go underground to the house. There's no way they would put it to the house first as it would need to much work.

It was mostly sunshine with hardly a breeze here.
How big is the shed Perry? I don`t like trimming branches by power lines but it has to be done. Here the power company only trim branches next to their lines.

They trim them here because the poles belong to them..so that means the lines do too...

Including the wood bin the shed is 6' x 19'. This is "we do as little as possible and complain about how hard we work " Calgary. This is the laziest town I've ever seen, Vancouver junkies work harder than true blue Calgarians. If you find someone here who's a honest hard worker, they were raised somewhere else or their parents were bible belt strict.

The power company trim by the their pole that comes into my yard, the others are my responsibly.
So Calgary folks get paid for what they know rather than what they do?

They do know how to get drunk. This last month I think I've encountered every drunk in the neighborhood and they all leech off their wives, I've also have met their wives when they walk the dog down the alley and they complain how lazy their husbands are. LOL Even James would starve to death if it wasn't for his wife, 4 jobs this year and the last one lasted 2 days, it involved to much work.
