Manual floor tank selector

Can someone tell me selector positions for each tank? I have tank behind seat and saddle tanks on each side of the bed. I'm sure its not original equipment. 1975 highboy. Appreciate any help. Brian..

A pic prob wouldn't help much unless it showed what position it points for one of the tanks but thanks

My 74 camper special also has the manual floor selector switch. Tag points to either main or auxiliary.

No F100/350 of any year came with R & L saddle tanks.

1973/74 F100/350 with factory installed dual fuel tanks:

Manual fuel tank selector valve on the floor adjacent to the drivers side of the seat. The selector switch on the dash changes the fuel gauge from one tank to the other.

1975/79 F100/350 with factory installed dual fuel tanks:

Fuel tank selector valve and solenoid assy. mounted on the frame rail. The selector switch on the dash changes the fuel tanks and the dash fuel gauge from one tank to the other.

Not sure what the factory hookup was, but it was basically the same valve as all the "universal" ones you see on ebay and such - they may have had a stop built into the factory one, so you could only use 2 positions, the one and only pickup I ever had with a manual valve had been replaced before I got it, so I'm not 100% sure. If I remember correctly, you have ultimately 4 positions, all the way around the clock, 3 tanks and an "off". If you've got 3 tanks, it's hard to say how it's hooked up, I think the handle can be clocked 2 ways, 180 degrees out, so you might have to unhook lines and blow through it to find out.
