Air intake

Air intake
I have a f150 with a 5.0 and I was wondering what are all of your guises thoughts on a air intake. My air box currently on the truck works fine but is held in with zip ties. So I was thinking I can either go with another stock box or get a air intake from k&n. What are your guises thoughts?

I have an f350 with a 460. It has a k&n on it since I got the truck. Can't give a before and after review but I will say when I'm pulling hard and up at 3000 or higher it's pretty loud since it's just the open filter.
