I like it. It will probably free up a bit of space under there for working on the air conditioning setup. I remember getting a finger jammed between moving rods one day as I was trying to figure out why it wasn't moving. Bit like the old Jag style worm driven wipers. Good instructions!

Nice set up John, it might cause a bit of interference with the ducting on the Vintage Air though for the right vent..

Hi John... thanks and happy new year.
I tried fitting both ducts as I was installing I can get them both on with no problem... Is that what you're referring to ??

Nice set up and good instructions, John. I was thinking the same thing as the other John, not sure it would have worked on mine with right side vent ducting and the
power window wires going through the kick panel.

I was referring to the spiral ducting that has to go in the kick panel area but checking mine again today think you should be okay...

For your right vent, the spiral tubing goes over and under that brace the hood hinge attaches to

Because there is no other way, those pictures they show are very deceiving..things get very tight over on the passenger side..

sooooo, it goes into the kick panel area over the top brace (out of site) and comes back thru the kickpanel and you upholster around it ??

I think John's extensions are nicer than the ones I made, but here's what mine looks like.
