2005 Eddie Bauer Mild Build Thread

Day I brought her home

Engine was off but tranny in reverse...

Test fit
Too cheap to fix so just color matches the damaged part

2.5" hubcentric

A few things done over the last year since I picked her up. My favorite truck of all time!po

Very nice.

not much for words, but the pictures tell a decent story.

I bought a sheet metal drill bit set and gradually bored out the holes. Factory sensor plugs from my 05 didn't point out straight/level so I bought 4 new sensor plugs from Ford for $20 a pop off of a 2015 abd '05 sensors fit right in.

Rather than find a way to notch the holes to fit the tab on the sensor plug (there so sensor plug doesn't spin) I trimmed the excess plastic off and slid them in the holes. So snug that they cannot spin.

Estimating exactly where to cut and actually drilling the holes took the longest because bumper is pretty thick.

Hope that helps

Cant remember brand but roughly $150 on eBay. They are solid and are hubcentric and wheels haven't flung off yet after about 5k miles...

Wedgewood blue X's are very cool. I assumed the timing of your photos from the pics of your tires going through puberty. Nice rig!!

Use a metal file edge (the narrow side).
