Gutter guard grill mod
I was browsing TDS and came across a mod I thought was too cool. Using gutter guards to make a behind the grill screen for the truck.
I think it looks really cool, and lets more air through than the Lund screens I had last year.

I modified the hood safety catch release too. A bit of wire, some string, and it works.

Looks great. What did you paint the screens with?
I've been thinking about ditching the Lund in favor of this mod, and paint matching the grill to the body color.

The screens are not painted yet - I wanted to see how it looked before I went to painting. When they dull up I will paint them with a some chrome paint. I put 'em on with a view to removing them again for maintenance or painting.
Sliknspeedy likes it so much she what me to do her '02 too.. But she wants to paint the grille to match the truck.
