Pulled it with ease compared to my 2008. It was more solid because of the new frame. The power was abundant. The brakes combined with the new tow mode and engine braking allowed me to stop much much better. I was very pleased.
Looks awesome. I pulled a heavy 5th wheel today over a couple of 8% grades and can appreciate the new exhaust brake. Some say it's just engine braking but however it works it's much better than my 2011. And I agree, just more power and control. Very stable with weight.
Awesome, thanks for the post! Seems like these new trucks can put in a decent amount of work. Havent ever owned a ford and am looking forward to putting my 6.7 to the test when it arrives.

The 2011 didn't really have a turbo brake, apparently. Starting in 2015, the trucks came with a button you could turn on and off, and it worked very well. The 2017, as you know, has a button with full on or auto mode. I like auto mode for how it literally works automatically even when not in Tow/Haul mode. However, I do not think the brake is any stronger than the one I had on my 2016's.
25,000# trailer... seems like your truck is missing a couple of wheels in the back
I agree. Get that on the highway and the DOT or highway patrol would shut you down. Don't get me wrong I don't care what you do, I've been there myself but are exceeding the rear weight rating for each of your tires.

The troopers/DOT wouldn't touch you in Alaska. If you're in a state where they would bother you for that load, it's time to leave the communism and come north. Bring your super duty's, you are welcome here.
Alaska=Sanctuary state for rednecks with big trucks.

I don't think it gets anymore redneck than Oklahoma and they'd have a field day with that.
