which headers for 93 302?
What headers should I get for my truck when I get it this Friday.Im thinking of buying the gibson dual exhaust so should I go with gibson headers or jba or what?Wheres the cheapest place to get em?

You really should stay away from Summit brand anything. They choose the items on the lowest cost. You really do not want to skimp on cheap exhaust components that you will have to replace in a few years anyways! I would suggest picking up a high quality set of Bassani, Gibson, or JBAs. Also, with your header choices, you said you are getting the Gibson catback?? WHat are you doing about that tiny little restricive Y pipe. It doesnt make alot of sense to me to get high flow headers and cat....just to have it all plugged up in the middle. You might want to look into a high flow Bassani Y pipe (www.proficientperformance.com) . You should find all you need there, including any cat backs and headers.

I looked at proficientperformance and at the bassini y pipe but I think that there x pipes with cats? Can anyone tell me if thats true?And if there an x pipe what cat back would work?

Bassani manufactures both X and Y pipes. I went underneath the X pipe section, trying to find one for my bronco, and I came up with the Y pipe part number. So, they must generalize both X and Y into one heading (being 'equalizer pipes'). What vehicle are you looking at getting something for?

I have one. A couple of the guys in the bronco forum have them as well. They are super high quality. The diameter of the piping is greatly increased. They also have a gasketless design for superior sealing. Just a great pipe!
