Do any of you parts gurus know the part # of the dash wiring sub harness that feeds the coil, temp sender gauge and oil pressure sender gauge on my 69 f-250 with a 390? I think the basic Ford part # is 14289 ?
C7TZ-14289-Y > > replaced by D4TZ-14289-P that also replaced D0TZ-14289-K and a gazillion other numbers. I ran about 14 of them until I found this puppy (PV).
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.
Besides these truck part numbers, D4TZ-14289-P also replaced C7ZZ-14289-A (may be reproduced) and a flock of other car numbers.

Glad you found this Bill. These replacements aren't in any of my O.S.I slides here.
Figures. I got 1/1977,1/1989,1/1992,7/2002, and 7/2004.
1975 O-S-I (bound paper-I don't use it much anymore, so it's out in the garage), 1/1990 & 1/1991 & 7/1994 & 1/2000 O-S-I's on microfiche.
Plus I have bound paper MCRC's that cover 1950's thru the early 21st century. Got 'em from Pasadena Ford when they closed 8/2008.
I got a lotta other catalogs, viewers, microfiche and etc. from Pasadena Ford. The azz end of my new 2008 Fusion was dragging the ground when I drove oughtta there.
The P/M (Bob) had been my 'swamper' when I was the back parts counter guy at Beverly Hills Ford 1969/70. He was fresh from the Bronx, didn't know anything.
I called them up when I read in the paper they were closing, spoke to the P/M, asked if he had a viewer. After he responded and I told him who I was, said your "Bronx honk" sounds familiar.
He responded: "Bill, it's Bob, get your azz over here, you can have everything...free!"
Thanks for the help guys, I'll try and find something now that I have a part #. One guy on E-bay has one that he claims is for my application but it is obviously incorrect. Sadly, someone will probably buy it and be disappointed.
What is the part number and how do you know it's not correct?
D4TZ-14289-P replaced over 25 different part numbers (including D0TZ-14289-K), some were also for cars & Bronco's.
I ran about 14 of these numbers on the D2D, PartsVoice.com and rearcounter.com until I found C7TZ-14289-Y (post #3).
I wouldn't be surprised if there's more of these replaced part numbers available.
Careful Bill. Don't forget sometimes part number replacements will only work one direction. Like say a longer wire part number 14289 replaced a shorter one. The shorter one's part number wouldn't work for the longer one's application.

Years ago, misc 1965/68 Mustang engine gauge feed and alternator wiring harnesses would work on trucks. Some of the Mustang harnesses were still available, some had been reproduced.
The truck harnesses were obsolete, the only way to find obsolete parts back then (before computers) was on microfiche...lots of squinting at scratchy slides, and...
One had to look again the next year, because all the part numbers had to be resubmitted.
Plus, just like today (on the D2D), not all dealers had their parts listed.
Bill, here is the picture of what the seller says is for my 69 f-250. It has at least 3 extra connectors that my original doesn't have. Mine has the 3 connectors for the coil, temp and oil senders and on the other end it has one 3 terminal male/female connector. That's it.
I have seen some Mustang harnesses that sure look like they would work but you have to buy before you try and that is scary. If we could compare with them in person it would be different.
To answer your previous question, he claims it is a C8TZ-14289-FC although I cant read that on the package. That number comes up nowhere. Surely the FC doesn't mean for a forward control.
